In Canada, nine people were killed in a shooting at Tumblr Ridge High School. This was reported on February 10 by the CBC News channel with reference to the RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Canadian Mounted Police).

According to media reports, the police found the bodies of seven people, one of whom died on the way to the hospital. The suspect in the shooting was found dead from "self-inflicted injuries."
