Russians reminded of shortened working days in 2026
In 2026, Russians expect one-hour shorter working days on April 30, May 8, June 11, and November 3. This was announced on Wednesday, February 11, by Yaroslav Nilov, head of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans' Affairs.
"This list is clearly defined by law. The reduction of working hours is provided on the eve of public holidays, which are non-working days. Such as Spring and Labor Day, Victory Day, Russia Day and National Unity Day," Nilov said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
