Sergeant Ilnur Saifullin destroyed a mortar crew and personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

During a special military operation, Sergeant Ilnur Saifullin, as commander of a motorized rifle platoon, repelled attacks by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), and also helped to eliminate the mortar crew and personnel of the AFU. This was announced on February 11 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

In one of the tactical areas of the SVO, in conditions of active use of UAVs by the enemy, Sergeant Saifullin, being a member of the crew of an infantry fighting vehicle (IFV), successfully completed the task of defeating the enemy by fire.

Thanks to his experience and skilful leadership of the calculation, he repelled the unmanned attacks of the nationalists, destroying the enemy mortar crew and the manpower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. His courage and competent actions made it possible to avoid losses in the unit and take more advantageous positions.

The Russian Defense Ministry also noted the decisive actions of Junior Sergeant Ilya Zimin as deputy commander of an electronic warfare (EW) platoon, who promptly detected Ukrainian drones.

While on combat duty at one of the sections of the SVO, the junior sergeant discovered the approach of enemy UAVs to the unit's positions. He promptly alerted the personnel and used electronic warfare equipment to suppress radio frequencies.

Thanks to his professional actions, the platoon managed to leave the danger zone, and the enemy's FPV drones were unable to achieve their goals. The professionalism and timely actions of the junior sergeant made it possible to complete the combat mission without losses.
