Figure skater Ilya Malinin, competing for the United States, became the best in the men's short program at the 2026 Olympics in Italy on February 10.

The judges rated his rental at 108.16 points. Malinin performed a clean quadruple flip, triple axel and cascade quadruple lutz – triple toe loop.
