- Humennik spoke about the ban on performing to the soundtrack from the film "The Perfumer"
On February 10, Russian figure skater Pyotr Gumennik shared with Izvestia his feelings about the scandal related to the rights to the soundtrack from the film "The Perfumer".
"Two days before the performance, I was informed that the music had not been approved. I immediately had a lot of options for performing. <...> I have not personally dealt with this, but now many athletes have problems with their rights. And the copyright holders, apparently, postponed the consideration of the rights for the last time, even though the application was submitted a long time ago," he said.
Humennik noted that coach Tamara Moskvina assumed full responsibility for resolving this issue.
On February 10, Humennik performed first in the men's short program of the Winter Olympic Games. The skater performed to the music of Waltz 1805 by composer Edgar Hakobyan. The composition was determined at the last moment.
