Krasnoyarsk Territory to allocate 290 million rubles for GTS security

The Krasnoyarsk Territory will allocate more than 290 million rubles for the construction and repair of hydraulic structures. The funds will come from the regional and federal budgets, in particular within the framework of the national project "Environmental well-being", the regional Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment reported.

For example, two water protection dams on the Tuba River will be repaired in the Kuraginsky district. The facilities are located in the village of Kuragino and the village of Kochergino. Construction of 2.5 km-long coastal defenses on the Oya River in the villages of Zheblakhty and Ermakovskoye will begin in the Ermakovsky district.

It is also planned to reduce orphan GTS for the current year 2026. They will be handed over to municipalities for further safe operation and protection from flooding, coastal destruction and other accidents.

According to the KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, the Ambarnaya River and almost 800 km of banks will be cleared of garbage in the region. Work will start in April in the south of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

Earlier, Izvestia wrote that Russia would change its approach to the transfer of orphan facilities to municipal ownership. This problem has been relevant for a long time — since the collapse of the Soviet Union, there are still many roads, communal infrastructure, buildings, cemeteries and cattle burial grounds, the ownership of which has not been established.
