Five people were killed as a result of attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Vasilyevka, Zaporizhia region.

Five people were killed and nine more were injured due to strikes by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on Vasilevka in the Zaporizhia region during the day. This was announced on February 10 by Natalia Romanichenko, head of the Vasilyevsky Municipal District administration.

"Today, February 10, 2026, has become a real tragedy for our Vasilyevsky municipal district! It is impossible to remain silent when defenseless citizens become victims of violence! <...> Five dead and nine wounded of our civilians," Romanichenko wrote on her Telegram channel.

She noted that during the day, Ukrainian militants launched five group strikes on Vasilyevka. Four men and one woman were among the dead.

Another 50 people were injured, 6 of them are in serious condition.

On the same day, the governor of the Zaporizhia region, Yevgeny Balitsky, reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked a funeral procession in the village of Skelki, Vasilyevsky municipal district, as a result of which six people received shrapnel wounds of varying severity, one person died. Later, Balitsky called the Ukrainian Armed Forces' attack in Skelki a despicable blow to civilians.
