Major repairs of the bridge over the Kukhva River have started in the Pskov region. The work is carried out within the framework of the national project "Infrastructure for Life".

The bridge is an important transport hub that provides access to the villages of Savintsy and Nosovo in the Pytalovsky municipal district. The contractor has begun the construction of a temporary ferry and is organizing a bypass road, the Pskov News feed writes. This is necessary for uninterrupted traffic during major repairs.

The condition of the bridge is assessed as emergency. The repair cost is estimated at more than 192 million rubles. The work will be completed in November 2026.
