Canadian forward of hockey club (HC) Siberia Taylor Beck set a historical record of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) on February 10, scoring seven points in one match.

The striker scored two goals and provided five assists in a home game against the Sochi club, Sport-Express reports.

This result surpassed the previous KHL record of six points per match. Earlier in the league's history, five hockey players — Alexander Radulov, Nikolai Zherdev, Vadim Shipachev, Joshua Livo and Nikita Gusev — reached this milestone.

In the current regular season, Beck played 22 games and scored 21 points (six goals and 15 assists).

On the same day, Sibir from Novosibirsk defeated Sochi with a score of 10:1, winning the biggest victory in its history. Egor Petukhov scored the only goal for Sochi in the 15th minute. Vyacheslav Leshchenko, Beck, and Andy Andreoff scored doubles for Sibir.
