- Lavrov expressed hope for Europe's non-interference in the movement of the Russian Federation and the United States towards peace.
Moscow hopes that Brussels, London and other European capitals will not be able to stop the movement towards establishing sustainable peace started by Russian President Vladimir Putin and American leader Donald Trump. This was announced on February 10 by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
"We hope that the war party, which has entrenched itself in Brussels, London and some other European capitals, will not be able to stop the actions started by the leaders of Russia and the United States...> moving towards lasting peace," he said during his speech at a solemn meeting on the occasion of Diplomatic Worker's Day.
The Russian Foreign Minister called the process initiated by the Russian and American sides difficult and very necessary.
