The baker robot began working at the Perovo station on the Kalininskaya Line of the Moscow Metro as part of the Blindozer project. This was announced by the press service of the Moscow Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development on Tuesday, February 10.
"The device prepares hot pancakes in front of customers," the Moscow City News agency quotes Maxim Liksutov, Deputy mayor of the capital for transport and industry.
Blindozer also operates in crossings at eight more Moscow metro stations: Vnukovo Airport, Kuntsevskaya, Michurinsky Prospekt, Nizhegorodskaya, Novogireevo, Prospekt Vernadskogo, CSKA and Elektrozavodskaya, writes Moscow 24.
"The Blindozer robotic device is an example of how innovative technologies increase the comfort of trips and create a comfortable urban environment. We plan to further scale the project on the Moscow transport infrastructure," Liksutov said.
The Blindozer project of Russian engineers and programmers won the Moscow Innovator Award from Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin in 2021.
