The tactics chosen by the Kiev regime are doomed to failure — they lead Ukraine to the destruction of statehood and impoverishment. This was announced on February 10 by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Maria Zakharova.

"Their (Ukrainian. Their methods and tactics are doomed to failure. <...> The destruction of statehood, the impoverishment of people, the destruction of internal foundations <...> from the point of view of economics, science, education," she said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

Zakharova added that Kiev, in her opinion, will continue to follow this path chosen for it by "Western curators." Ultimately, as she added, this will lead to a loss of self-awareness of the Ukrainian people.

Retired British Commodore Stephen Germey said on the same day that Kiev's negotiating position on resolving the conflict with Russia was only getting worse over time — the Ukrainian delegation, in his opinion, returned to the negotiating table each time with worse conditions for a settlement. The expert also said that the Europeans are trying to prolong the conflict.

Grigory Karasin, Chairman of the Federation Council's International Affairs Committee, said a day earlier that European leaders view the agreement on Ukraine as their own defeat, so they are taking appropriate steps to disrupt the agreements. At the same time, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov called the principles reached during the Anchorage talks the cornerstones for further dialogue on the Ukrainian conflict.
