The Governor of the Vologda Region, Georgy Filimonov, and the head of the ROSSETI Group, Andrey Ryumin, discussed solving key infrastructure problems in the region, preparing Vologda, Cherepovets and Veliky Ustyug for the anniversaries to be held in 2027. This was reported by the Rosseti press service.

"The priorities of our cooperation are the consolidation of electric grid assets, the introduction of innovative solutions in the construction and operation of electric power facilities. With the participation of Rosseti, we are also modernizing socially significant infrastructure, including in the regional capital. Together, we will continue to create a safe and sustainable energy system in the region and provide comfortable living conditions for Vologda residents," Filimonov said.

Ryumin noted that the Vologda Region is developing its economy, agriculture, and tourism. This requires a modern energy infrastructure. In 2025, ROSSETI allocated 3.9 billion rubles for investments in the region. The largest project was the modernization of the 220 kV substation in the Sokolsky district. The power engineers also provided electricity to 1,9 thousand new homes and 13 medical facilities, connected more than 40 industrial and agricultural sites.

"Partnership with the region is important for us, as we are focused on solving common problems. The implementation of an agreed regulatory model and support for the consolidation of networks, including facilities in industrial and tourist centers, make it possible to increase investments. In 2026, we will allocate about 5.2 billion rubles to finance projects in the Vologda Region, paying special attention to strengthening the Vologda-Cherepovets energy hub," Ryumin said.

The work of power engineers during the heating season was also discussed. It is noted that the load on the network infrastructure is growing, which requires an increase in production programs. In 2025, the ROSSETI Group allocated about 1.5 billion rubles to finance a repair campaign in the Vologda Region. In 2026, the indicator is expected to grow by 41% to more than 2.1 billion rubles.
