"We are seeing a visible change in the reduction of cancer mortality. We are seeing a significant reduction in deaths from tuberculosis (we have already defeated it), HIV, AIDS, and a number of other infectious diseases that we are monitoring and that are our constant work," she said.
According to Golikova, these operational data are presented for the period of last year and will continue to be updated.
On February 3, Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko stated that Russia is one of the world leaders in the fight against cancer and is constantly improving the system of medical care in this field. Matvienko added that the development of medical products in the field of oncology allows not only to save people's lives, but also to preserve its quality.
