In Moscow, the "yellow" level of weather danger due to icy conditions will be in effect from 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 12, to 9:00 a.m. on February 13. The Hydrometeorological Center of the Russian Federation reported this on Tuesday, February 10.

"Precipitation is expected in some places on the afternoon of February 12 and at night on February 13, mainly in the form of wet snow, in some places sticking of wet snow on wires and trees; ice on roads," the Moscow city News agency quotes the message.

In the Moscow region, a similar warning is valid until 23:00 on February 15, Moscow 24 clarifies. A "yellow" weather hazard level has also been declared in the region due to heavy snowfall.

"Snow/icing. The warning period is from 9:00 a.m. on February 12 to 9:00 a.m. on February 13. Precipitation is expected in some places on the afternoon of February 12 and at night on February 13, mainly in the form of wet snow, heavy snow in some places; in some areas, wet snow sticks to wires and trees; ice on roads," the Hydrometeorological Center clarifies.

In the Moscow region and the capital on Tuesday it will be cloudy with clarifications, the temperature will be -10...-8 degrees, writes RIAMO. There will be light snow in places in the region, it is specified on the website kp.ru .
