VKKS terminated the resignation of the former head of the Supreme Court of Adygea Trakhov

The Higher Qualification Board of Judges (HCCC) has terminated the resignation of judge Aslan Trakhov, ex-chairman of the Supreme Court of Adygea, in connection with a violation of the code of judicial ethics. This was reported on February 10 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the scene.

Trakhov himself did not show up, and the HCCC found his non-appearance disrespectful. A lawsuit against Trakhov and his family was cited as the reason for the termination of the investigation.

The United Press Service of the courts of the Krasnodar Territory reported on January 30 that the Oktyabrsky District Court of Krasnodar satisfied the claim of the Prosecutor General's Office of Russia against the Trakhov family. The court decided to convert shares and shares of a number of companies, as well as significant property assets, into state income. Hundreds of land plots and dozens of real estate objects in Krasnodar, Maikop and Moscow were transferred to state ownership.

On December 5, 2025, the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation initiated a claim for the confiscation of assets in the amount of 5.4 billion rubles in the Trakhov case. According to Izvestia, in September 2025, the court had already confiscated Trakhov's property worth 13 billion rubles in favor of the state. Thus, the total amount of disputed and seized property is approaching 18.5 billion rubles, which the agency called a record figure.

According to the lawsuit filed with the Oktyabrsky District Court of Krasnodar, agricultural holdings, construction companies, hundreds of real estate objects, including land and commercial premises, as well as over 370 million rubles from the sale of assets are subject to confiscation. The prosecutor's office claims that during the 21 years of leadership of the courts of Adygea, Trakhov hid property, registering it for 44 relatives and trusted persons, including his son, a judge, daughter and son-in-law.
