The Kremlin confirmed contacts between Russia and France for a potential dialogue.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, responding to a question from Izvestia, confirmed the existence of contacts between Russia and France at the technical level.

"Contacts have indeed taken place, this can be confirmed, which, if desired and if necessary, will help to quickly establish a dialogue at the highest level. So far, we have not received any indications of a desire, although we have noticed Macron's statement about the need to restore relations with the Russian Federation," Peskov said.
