UAZ has improved the evacuation "Hunter" for its zone

The Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant, together with the People's Front project, has upgraded the UAZ Hunter evacuation SUV to perform tasks in its area. Changes were made to the car, designed according to the wishes of the fighters, the UAZ Segodnya factory Telegram channel reported on February 10.

The car is built on the basis of the serial UAZ Hunter and is designed to transport the lightly and seriously injured. The interior design has been completely changed, and it is possible to modernize the top — it can be used both with a closed awning and with an open one. There are places for the installation of electronic warfare "EW" and the possibility of conducting combat in motion.

The SUV is also equipped with a winch, the wheels have special inserts for movement with punctured tires, and the engine is adapted to run on low-quality fuel.

Representatives of the automobile plant noted that the first sample was designed and assembled in a short time and will be further improved in accordance with the new requirements of the military.

Earlier, on January 28, it was reported that in 2025, sales of new UAZ cars decreased by a third (-36%) compared to the previous year, with a total of 19.8 thousand cars sold. In the model structure, the most popular cars were the "SGR" ("Loaves") family.
