An underground workshop for the production of vaping liquids was liquidated in the Moscow region.

Police officers have liquidated an underground workshop for the production of vaping liquids in the Moscow region. The cost of the seized products is estimated at almost 1 billion rubles. This was announced by the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Irina Volk.

"The attackers organized a large-scale production of liquid for vaping without the necessary permits. The underground workshop operated around the clock and produced up to 75,000 units per shift," she wrote on her channel in the MAX messenger.

According to Volk, during 20 searches at the residential addresses of the detainees, as well as in warehouses and office premises in the Moscow region, four production lines, about 600 thousand bottles of reusable steam generators, containers and various components for making liquid for vapes were found. In addition, more than 2 million rubles and about $400,000 in cash were seized.

The finished products, according to the Interior Ministry, were shipped to warehouses or directly sent by transport companies to various regions of Russia. Criminal cases have been initiated under Part 6 of Article 171.1 ("Production, acquisition, storage, transportation or sale of goods and products without labeling and/or applying information") and Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Fraud").

On November 27, 2025, a workshop for the production of counterfeit household chemicals was liquidated in the Moscow region. The company was located in one of the buildings of a warehouse complex in the city of Elektrogli, where household chemicals, finished products, plastic containers, reagents and labels with logos of well-known brands were packaged on an automated line.
