Sellers complained about fraudulent schemes with intentional damage to equipment

The largest retailers of household appliances and electronics, among them, appealed to the Supreme Court with a request to clarify the enforcement of the law on consumer protection. This was reported on February 10 by the newspaper Kommersant.

They claim that due to the lack of uniformity in judicial practice, fraudsters intentionally damage equipment in order to obtain compensation through the courts. Currently, there are "thousands" of similar lawsuits for billions of rubles.
