The funeral of the murdered nine-year-old Pasha Tifitulin will take place on February 11. This was announced on February 9 by lawyer Nikita Sorokin, who represents the interests of the family.

"On Wednesday, February 11, at about one o'clock in the afternoon (give or take an hour), everyone and sympathizers will be able to say goodbye to Pasha Tifitulin at the Southern Cemetery, the central square on the opposite side from the chapel," he wrote on the Telegram channel.

The disappearance of nine-year-old Pasha became known on February 1. It was clarified that the search for the student lasted three days, during which the recordings from the surveillance cameras were studied to restore the chronology of events. Later, information appeared about the possible abduction of a child.

According to a source in Izvestia on February 2, the alleged kidnapper, who arrived in St. Petersburg from the Luhansk People's Republic, offered children a ride in his car for money in the parking lot of a hypermarket.

The next day it became known that the detained man, who turned out to be Pyotr Zhilkin, confessed to the murder of the boy. It was emphasized that the crime was caused by blackmail. Child pornography materials were found on the man's computer. On February 3, Izvestia visited the place where the bound body of a minor was found.

Investigators opened a criminal case under the article "Murder of a minor," and after a while Zhilkin was sent into custody for a period of 1 month and 30 days.
