An earthquake of magnitude 4.8 occurred in the Krasnodar Territory. This was announced on February 10 by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC).

It is specified that the epicenter of the seismic event was located 35 km northwest of Novorossiysk, which has a population of about 241 thousand people.

The source of the tremors was at a depth of 10 km. There has been no information about casualties or damage yet.
