On February 9, the Russian Embassy in Cuba reported that some Russian tourists had been relocated from their hotels to other hotels due to the current situation in the country.
"According to available information, in order to save resources, some tourists were indeed relocated from their hotels to other hotels," the Telegram channel said.
It is clarified that due to the emergency situation with fuel in Cuba, the Russian Consulate General is in constant contact with domestic tour operators and local aviation authorities.
Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum announced on February 9 that oil supplies from her country to Cuba had been temporarily halted due to threats from the American side to impose trade duties. She clarified that Mexico City has no plans to withdraw humanitarian support from the Cuban side.
