A new tourist and educational project "Moscow. Traditions. People." The program includes walking tours, local history lectures and an online competition, said Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina.
"The participants of the competition will tell about the fates of outstanding residents and heroes of our country, architectural sites, history and traditions of Moscow districts," said Sergunina.
You can apply for the competition until April 13 at the Russpass tour service. Citizens over the age of 12 are invited to join. An expert jury will evaluate the works and determine the finalists. The winners will be selected in the Active Citizen project. The stories of the laureates will be published in the online edition "Russpass-magazine".
The lectures planned as part of the project will focus on the development of the capital's districts and popular metropolitan locations, including VDNH and the Kolomenskoye Museum Reserve. The excursion program will bring together all the districts of Moscow and introduce the audience to the local attractions. Participation in the events is free of charge.
