- Sobyanin informed Putin about the capital's leadership in healthcare digitalization
During a meeting with President Vladimir Putin, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported on the capital's leadership in healthcare digitalization. According to him, Moscow is a recognized Russian leader in this field, where all city hospitals, clinics and ambulances operate in a single digital circuit. The mayor of the capital told about this in his channel in the MAX.
Special attention was paid to the federal scale of the capital's developments. Artificial intelligence-based diagnostic services created in Moscow are already being used in 74 regions of the country. In 2024, on behalf of the President, the federal digital platform MosMedIA was created, providing access to more than 60 similar radiology diagnostic services.
"There are already almost four times as many regional patients as Muscovites, because they are all connected. We provide services for free, and people receive diagnoses on 60 services very quickly. It's a pretty effective story," Sergei Sobyanin said.
In 2025, 8.6 million studies were processed on the federal platform, which is almost three times the volume of studies in Moscow (3.1 million). AI algorithms analyze CT and MRI scans, note possible deviations and make a preliminary description, while the final decision always remains with the doctor. The introduction of these technologies has significantly increased the availability and quality of diagnostics throughout Russia.
