Zenit Football Club (FC) has leased striker John Duran. This was announced on February 9 by the press service of the St. Petersburg club.

"The blue-white-blues and the Al-Nasr football club have reached an agreement on the transfer of the striker to the St. Petersburg club," the Telegram channel said.

The agreement with the Saudi club Al-Nasr provides for the lease of a Colombian football player until the end of the 2025/26 season, adds "Газета.Ru ".

According to an insider Fabrizio Romano, Duran joined Zenit after the Turkish club Fenerbahce terminated the agreement with the Colombian player ahead of schedule. In addition, an Italian journalist in a post about Duran's transition to the Instagram social network (owned by Meta, which is recognized as an extremist organization and banned in the Russian Federation) noted the village of Prudki in the Tambov region with a population of 142 people.

Earlier, on February 2, it became known that Duran, who is currently on loan at Fenerbahce in Turkey, could become a Zenit St. Petersburg player. Duran joined Al-Nasr last year, he was bought from Aston Villa for €77 million.
