Russia has submitted a proposal to the United States to resume direct flights.

Moscow has proposed to Washington to return direct flights, at the moment the "ball" is on the side of the United States. This was announced on February 9 by Alexander Gusarov, head of the North Atlantic Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

"Our proposals on these stories have been submitted to the American authorities, the ball is on their side," he said in an interview with the Kommersant newspaper.
