The IV International Documentary Film Festival "RT.Doc: The Time of our Heroes"

IV International Documentary Film Festival "RT.Doc: The Time of Our Heroes" will be held on February 21-23 at the Rossiya National Center. The audience program will include 38 films by famous Russian and foreign authors. These are the tapes of RT, Channel One, Russia 1, NTV, 360 channel, RIA Novosti, and independent documentary filmmakers.

Among the premieres is a painting by RT's war documentarian.Ekaterina Kitaytseva's doc "Reconstruction of the soul of Donbass" about the restoration of churches destroyed by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Donbas. The guests of the event will also be the first to see the film "Bloody Puppets of the West" by famous producer, screenwriter and director Tatiana Borsch, about female politicians, whose common feature is thirst for power, side by side with bloodlust. This year at the festival "RT.Doc: The Time of Our Heroes" will feature an expanded international program. Documentary filmmakers from 13 countries will take part in it — Algeria, Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Iran, Lebanon, Libya, Palestine, Syria, Tunisia, Turkey and Uzbekistan. Over 3,000 applications from more than 100 countries were sent to participate in the festival.

As part of the business program, the rehabilitation and adaptation of veterans of the SVO will be discussed in the panel discussion "My relatives". At the "No statute of Limitations" round table, participants will present evidence of Kiev's war crimes. And at the "Partisans of Truth" discussion, filmmakers and journalists from different countries will discuss why, despite pressure and prohibitions, documentary filmmakers continue to tell the truth.

The opening ceremony of the festival "RT.Doc: The Time of Our Heroes" will take place on February 21 at 17:00. On February 23, at 17:30, the closing ceremony and a grand festive concert dedicated to Defender of the Fatherland Day, organized jointly with the National Center "Russia", will take place.

During all three days, the festival's guests will also see performances by contemporary poets Dmitry Artis, Olga Starushko, Dinara Kerimova and others. Russian russians will read their works, which are included in the RT poetry collections "Poetry of the Russian Summer" and "Poetry of the Russian Winter".
