Skier Daria Nepryaeva competed in the classic sprint competition at the 2026 Olympic Games in Italy on Tuesday, February 10. She started qualifying at 11:15 Moscow time. The Russian athlete competed in a neutral status, without national symbols. Nepryaeva showed a result of 3 minutes 36.21 seconds and took 36th place.

The winner of the race was Sweden's Lynn Swan. Also included in the top three are Jonna Sundling and Johanna Hagstrom from Sweden.

Daria Nepryaeva's next appearances at the Olympics are scheduled for February 12 at 15:00 Moscow time, where she will take part in the 10 km freestyle race, and on February 22 at 12:00 Moscow time she will enter the 50 km classic mass start distance.

This was Nepryaeva's second start at the 2026 Games after the skiathlon on February 7, where she took 17th place in the 20 km distance (10 km classic + 10 km freestyle). The athlete showed a time of 57 minutes 41.3 seconds, losing to the winner of the race Frida Karlsson for almost four minutes due to a fall.

Daria Nepryaeva was born on May 18, 2002 in Tver. At the age of 23, she is a two-time Russian champion, the world junior champion in the 5 km classic race (2022) and the winner of the stages of the Cup of Russia.

In the 2025/2026 season, the athlete demonstrated stable results on the international stage: she took 10th place in the overall standings of the multi-day Tour de Ski, was eighth in the 5 km freestyle mass start in Toblach, finished 16th in the 10 km classic race in Oberhof and became eighth in the classic mass start.start at 20 km in Homs.
