Artist Pavlov spoke about the always joyful state of Chipovskaya's soul
Honored Artist of Russia Olga Chipovskaya was a talented and very bright person. Honored Artist of Russia Alexander Pavlov told Izvestia about this on February 9.
"Chapa's talent, as we all called her, was so bright, joyful, some amazing light and kindness, no matter what she did. In my opinion, she could have done much more in the theater by her talent, by what nature gave her, but fate is what it is. <...> There was a feeling that she always had a wonderful, joyful state of mind," Pavlov emphasized.
Chipovskaya's death at the age of 67 became known on February 4. During her career, she played many roles, including Solange in the play "Summer in Milan", Mimi in "The Three Ages of Casanova", Gabriel in "Old Russian Vaudeville" and many others. In 2021, Chipovskaya was awarded the medal of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, II degree.
People's Artist of the Russian Federation Yulia Rutberg told Izvestia on February 9 that Chipovskaya was the favorite of the entire Vakhtangov Theater and never remained indifferent to her interlocutors.
