The Kremlin called the situation in Cuba critical amid US pressure
The situation in Cuba has become critical due to US pressure on the island, and Moscow is working on joint solutions with Havana. This was announced on February 9 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
"The situation in Cuba is really critical. <...> We are discussing with our Cuban friends possible ways to solve these problems, at least to provide all possible assistance," he said at a briefing.
Peskov added that Washington's "suffocating techniques" lead to problems on the island. Russia is conducting a dialogue with Cuba through diplomatic and other contacts, providing support, concluded the press secretary of the President of Russia.
