Lukashenko stated that the financing of scientists depends on the result of their activities

Budgetary financing of scientific activities and the level of remuneration of scientists in Belarus should directly depend on the results of their work. This was announced on February 9 by the President of the Republic Alexander Lukashenko.

"If we are talking about money, about payment, then there is only one mechanism — to pay for the result. If there is a result, we pay. If there is no result, there will be no money. No matter how our, undoubtedly, smart scientists present this question," the BelTA news agency reports Lukashenko's words.

The Head of State noted that he had many questions about the draft document that required detailed discussion.

The President asked how the draft decree ensures the achievement of its goals and what tools are offered for this.

Lukashenko added that all the problems that scientists still have should be resolved before the upcoming congress.
