Rostov ex-judge Kobleva sentenced to 10 years for bribes
Elena Kobleva, the former chairman of the Soviet District Court of Rostov-on-Don, was sentenced to 10 years in a penal colony in a case of a large bribe with a fine of 15 million rubles. This was reported on February 9 in the press service of the courts of the Krasnodar Territory.
"Elena Kobleva was found guilty of committing a crime under paragraph "b" of Part 5 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Receiving a large bribe"). Elena Kobleva was sentenced to 10 years in prison to serve her sentence in a general regime colony, with a fine of 30 times the amount of the bribe," the report says.
The agency also noted that Elena Kobleva was deprived of the right to hold government positions for a period of 10 years. In addition, the court confiscated 500 thousand rubles from the former judge, which correspond to the amount of the bribe received.

Also on December 8, 2025, a criminal case was opened against Oleg Batalshchikov, a retired judge of the Sovetsky District Court of Rostov-on-Don.
