Teenager died after physical education lesson at Yekaterinburg school

In Yekaterinburg, a ninth-grader died after a physical education lesson at school. This was reported on February 9 in the press service of the Prosecutor's office of the Sverdlovsk region.

According to the agency, the incident occurred during recess at the MAOU Secondary school No. 181 in the Academic District of Yekaterinburg. The teenager lost consciousness in the school building.

"According to preliminary information, today, on February 9, 2026, at about 9:35 a.m., a 9th grade student, born in 2010, went into the bathroom with a classmate after a physical education lesson at recess, where he lost consciousness," the Telegram channel says.

Teachers and a medical worker tried to help, an ambulance was called, but it was not possible to save the student.

The Prosecutor's Office has organized an inspection of compliance with legislation on the protection of life and health of minors. The district prosecutor went to the place.

In the Leningrad region on January 23, it became known about the death of a 14-year-old teenager during a physical education lesson at school. During the lesson, the teenager suddenly became ill. After that, medical workers were called, but they could not save the student.
