Kravtsov announced the introduction of a new unified line of history textbooks starting in September.

It is planned to prepare a single line of history textbooks for schoolchildren from 5th to 11th grade by September 1, 2026. This was announced on February 9 by the Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Sergey Kravtsov.

"From the next academic year, the entire line from 5th to 11th grade will be unified in history, and in social studies for grades 9-10, and from 2028 for 11th grade," Kravtsov said.

The Minister noted that work is continuing in parallel to create unified textbooks in other disciplines. In particular, new teaching materials on natural science subjects, Russian language and literature are being developed.

On February 3, the Ministry of Education announced the dates of the school's spring break in 2026. They will be held from March 28 to April 5, 2026.
