The administration of US President Donald Trump, for all its statements about the need to end the conflict in Ukraine and the prospects for Russian-American relations, does not dispute the sanctions against Russia of former President Joe Biden. This was announced on February 9 by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

"I would like to note that with all the statements of the Trump administration <...>, it does not dispute all the laws that Biden introduced to 'punish' Russia after the start of a special military operation," TASS quoted Lavrov as saying.
