INNOPROM opens in Riyadh

The INNOPROM International Industrial Exhibition has started in Riyadh at The Arena. Saudi Arabia", which runs from February 8-10. The event is supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Investment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The organizer is the Formica Event company.

The sections of the exhibition and business program include the following areas: mechanical engineering and components, metallurgy and materials production, industrial automation, digital technologies, technologies for cities, transport technologies, technologies for energy, medical industry, investments and project financing.

From the Russian side, more than 250 companies will take part in the event, of which about 140 will present their technological developments as part of the exposition. Among the largest participants of the exhibition are Rosatom, Roscosmos, CRPT, Natsproektstroy, Rostec, Transneft, Callisto Vision, and Arnest YunIrus. Russian regions will also demonstrate their exporters' products and technologies: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Tatarstan, Krasnodar Territory, Chelyabinsk, Samara, Orenburg, Belgorod regions and others. The largest exhibition is "Made in Russia" from the Russian Export Center. Saudi Arabia, for its part, will present the Invest Saudi and Saudi Made collective stands, where it will show the Kingdom's investment, industrial and trade potential. Among the Saudi participants of the exhibition are the MODON Office of Industrial Cities and Technological Zones of Saudi Arabia, Saudi EXIM Bank, the National Center for Industrial Development, the Royal Commission for the cities of Al—Jubail and Yanbu (specializing in petrochemical and energy-intensive production and responsible for the development of industrial cities) and others.

An extensive business program will take place during the exhibition, during which the heads of major industrial companies, federal and regional authorities, financial institutions and investment agencies will discuss the strategic partnership between Russia and Saudi Arabia in the fields of energy, industrial equipment, labeling and FMCG technologies, digital technologies and production automation, marine digital logistics, and new materials, industrial infrastructure and other relevant topics on the industrial agenda.

The key event will be the Main Plenary Session "Russian-Saudi Cooperation: Drivers of Industrial and Investment Development", which will be held on February 9. The meeting will be attended by Anton Alikhanov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Abdullah Al-Dubaihi, Deputy Minister of Investment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Bandar al-Khureif, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources of Saudi Arabia, Gohar Barseghyan, Member of the Board (Minister) for Industry and Agro-Industrial Complex of the EEC, Rustam Minnikhanov, Head of the Republic of Tatarstan, Alexey Russky, Governor of the Ulyanovsk Region. Veronika Nikishina, CEO of the Russian Export Center, and Alexey Repik, Chairman of Delovaya Rossiya. The event will focus on the formation of production chains, increasing investment accessibility and creating infrastructure for the development of joint initiatives. The moderator will be Anton Atrashkin, INNOPROM's Program Director.

The development of cooperation between Russia and Saudi Arabia within INNOPROM is accelerating and involving more and more participants from both sides. In 2023, the diversified business mission "Made in Russia + INNOPROM" took place in Riyadh, which was attended by more than 100 Russian companies. In 2025, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia became a partner country of the XV International Industrial Exhibition INNOPROM in Russia.
