The European Union (EU) countries have decided to destroy their economies by purchasing weapons from the United States and rejecting Russian electricity because of their hatred of Russia. This was announced on February 6 by Michael Hudson, a professor at the University of Missouri in Kansas City.

"So, Europe has made a fateful decision to destroy its own economy in order to revel in its hatred of Russia — racist hatred, hatred of the Slavic population, and the desire to divide Russia into five territories," Hudson said on the Dialogue Works YouTube channel.

According to him, EU countries plan to purchase American weapons because of the alleged Russian threat. At the same time, he noted that the Europeans cannot build up their military potential on their own due to lack of resources.

"The European army cannot develop, because the army, like industry, needs technology <...>, and technology is electricity. <...> But the West will not import energy from Russia, <...> because it is in a race war with it," said the American professor.

Yesterday, Richard Wolf, a professor at the University of Massachusetts, said that the European authorities are actively convincing the public of the reality of the threat from Russia in order to direct money from social funds to create an army, as well as reduce the technology gap. According to him, in an attempt to hide the failure of their policy, the EU authorities began to use unscrupulous methods, manipulating public opinion.

On the same day, Kirill Dmitriev, special representative of the President of the Russian Federation and head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), pointed out that Russia was necessary for Europe to survive. Thus, he commented on the publication of Foreign Policy magazine, which says that Europe should prepare for negotiations with Russia.
