A tiger cub was rescued in the Khabarovsk Territory
A tiger cub was rescued in the Khabarovsk Territory, which was later named Timosha. This was announced on February 9 by the regional hunting department.
"An exhausted and helpless kitten was sitting on the side of the Komsomolsk-on-Amur—Nikolaevsk-on-Amur highway in the Komsomolsk district," the department's Telegram channel said.
No traces of an adult female were found, so the tiger cub was taken away and sent to Khabarovsk.
It is noted that the tiger cub is currently in the enclosure of the Service for the Protection of Wildlife and Specially Protected Natural Territories of the Khabarovsk Territory, where he has already grown stronger.
The baby was named Timosha.
On January 22, four cubs, aged 7-10 days, were found in the Pskov region, in the Bezhanitsky district. Three boys and one girl are among the rescued cubs. Their eyes and ears are still closed. At the time of admission to the center, they weighed about 500 g. The cubs were fed every 1.5 hours, on demand.
