The unemployment rate in Russia in December was 2.2%, RIA Novosti reported. The indicator decreased by 0.1 points.

Mexico ranks second with an unemployment rate of 2.4%, which has not changed since 2024. But in Japan, the share of unemployed rose to 2.6%.

The highest unemployment was recorded in South Africa (South Africa) — 31.9%, in France and Turkey (7.7% each) and in Canada (6.8%).
