The amount of the family tax payment depends on the amount of personal income tax (personal income tax) that the employer of the working parent paid for the previous year. Ekaterina Stenyakina, a member of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans' Affairs, told about this on February 9.

"The amount of the payment will depend on the amount of personal income tax paid by the working parent over the past year. She will actually reduce the amount of income tax for the previous period from 13% to 6%," she told RIA Novosti.
