Russian military personnel told about the destruction of the Abrams tank in its combat zone

The military personnel of the North group of forces told how they destroyed an American-made Abrams tank in the Special Military Operation zone (SVO) with the help of an adjustable Krasnopol artillery munition. The relevant footage is published by Izvestia on February 9.

They prepared everything, fired one shot. <...> After that, the "birders" shared a picture that everything had burned down," said junior sergeant, gun commander Vladimir Lvov.

The same ammunition was used to strike enemy targets. At the moment of impact on the building, a large-scale detonation occurs, as not only the projectile that strikes explodes, but also the weapons that the enemy stored in the room.

"There are special charges: reduced, full and long-range. Here are the long-range ones at 27 km [used]," the junior sergeant listed to Izvestia correspondent Valentin Trushnin.

On February 7, the Russian Defense Ministry said that units of the North group of forces had decisively established control over the settlement of Chugunovka in the Kharkiv region. The total losses of the enemy in this area amounted to over 210 militants, two armored vehicles, 10 vehicles and five artillery pieces, an ammunition depot and four material depots were destroyed.
