Socialist Seguro leads Portuguese elections after counting 69% of votes
Antonio Jose Seguro, a member of the Portuguese Socialist Party, is leading in the second round of the presidential election after counting 69% of the ballots. This was confirmed on February 8 by data from the Portuguese Ministry of Internal Administration.
Currently, the Socialist candidate has received 63.39% of the popular vote. At the same time, his political opponent, the leader of the right-wing Chega party, Andre Ventura, had gained only 36.61% by this point.
