Two people were injured in an accident with a regular bus in Stavropol
In the Georgievsky district of the Stavropol Territory, on the evening of February 8, a traffic accident occurred involving a passenger bus and a KamAZ truck. This was reported in the Telegram channel of the Stavropol Territory State Traffic Inspectorate.
The accident happened at about 19:00 Moscow time on the 16th km of the Georgievsk–Novopavlovsk highway. According to preliminary data, the driver of the Mercedes Sprinter bus could not maintain a safe distance to the vehicle in front and collided with a truck.
"As a result of a traffic accident, six passengers were taken to the city hospital of Georgievsk," the State Traffic Inspectorate said.
The ministry clarified that four victims received one-time medical care, and two more people were injured. Currently, traffic police officers are working at the scene of the accident, the circumstances of the incident are being established.
The State Traffic Inspectorate of the Irkutsk region reported earlier that day that a car and a truck collided on the Baikal highway, resulting in the death of three people. According to preliminary data, the driver of the car lost control and drove into the oncoming lane. The driver and two minor passengers were killed in the accident. An investigative task force was working at the scene.
