Pensioners who are guests of a private boarding house in New Moscow have become massively ill with acute respiratory viral infection (ARVI). This was announced on February 8 by a source of Izvestia.

According to the source, the outbreak of infection occurred in the village of Penino. There is a boarding house for the elderly "Dom Penino". Its guests are 12 people.

It is not specified whether the pensioners are hospitalized. The details of the incident are being clarified.

On January 25, the press service of the St. Petersburg City Health Committee reported that tuberculosis was detected in an employee of the organization responsible for nutrition at secondary school No. 575 in the Primorsky district of the city. The educational institution has been disinfected, students are being examined, no other cases of the disease have been recorded.

The committee clarified that the employee did not have a so—called pathology pass - she underwent a routine fluorography on January 5. According to the results of the additional examination, no new cases of tuberculosis were detected among schoolchildren and school staff.
