The Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked the administration building of the Vygonichi district of the Bryansk region

The administration building of the Vygonichi district of the Bryansk region, in which the territorial election commission is located, was seriously damaged by an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on February 8 by the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation.

"Ukrainian terrorists launched a missile attack on the Bryansk region. As a result of the attack, the building of the Vygonichi district administration was seriously damaged," the CEC Telegram channel said.

Two civilians were injured during the strike. They were taken to the hospital, and doctors treated them. Heat and power supply were disrupted in seven municipalities of the region.

The governor of the Bryansk region, Alexander Bogomaz, reported earlier on February 8 that the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked the region using long-range Neptune missiles and HIMARS MLRS. As a result, two civilians were injured. In the Bezhitsky district of Bryansk, fences, facades and glazing of two private residential buildings were damaged. The air defense system detected and destroyed 11 enemy unmanned aerial vehicles.
