Microsoft has registered trademarks for software and entertainment services in the Russian Federation

The American corporations Microsoft and its subsidiary ZeniMax Media, which had previously left the Russian market, have registered two trademarks in Russia. This was reported on February 8 by TASS with reference to Rospatent data.

It is noted that among the registered names are the name of the PowerPoint company's service and the game Dishonored.

Applications for registration were received in May and October 2025 and were approved by Rospatent on January 22-23, 2026. The exclusive rights to these trademarks will expire on May 5 and October 10, 2035.

On January 13, it became known that the Ford Motor Company filed an application for registration of three trademarks in Russia. It was noted that among the signs is the company's corporate logo, as well as the symbol of the horse and the Motorcraft auto parts brand.
