The number of regions where the pension for non-working pensioners is more than 30 thousand rubles has increased to 11. This became known on February 8 from the data of the Social Fund.

"Chukotka Autonomous Okrug — 41,026.55 rubles, Nenets Autonomous Okrug — 37.1 thousand rubles, Kamchatka Territory — 36.7 thousand rubles, Magadan Region — 36.3 thousand rubles, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug — 35.7 thousand rubles, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug — 35.3 thousand rubles, Murmansk Region — 33 thousand rubles, Sakhalin Region - 32.5 thousand rubles," TASS cites the data.

Also in Yakutia, the average payment was 32.2 thousand rubles, in Komi — 30.6 thousand rubles, and pensioners of the Arkhangelsk region receive 30.2 thousand rubles.

Indexation of social benefits in February 2026: who will be increased and by how much

The indexation will affect families with children, pensioners, the disabled and other beneficiaries.

On February 7, Tatiana Podolskaya, an expert at the Presidential Academy, said that the average social pension in Russia after indexation on April 1, 2026, would exceed 16.5 thousand rubles. The expert clarified that the actual amount of the payment will depend on its type and the availability of regional surcharges and coefficients.
