The State Duma proposed to establish a preferential mortgage for young scientists

For young scientists of state scientific institutes, it is worth setting a reduced mortgage rate of 6%. On February 8, LDPR leader Leonid Slutsky sent such an appeal to the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin.

"It is proposed to establish (for young scientists working in state scientific institutes. — Ed.) a reduced fixed interest rate on mortgage loans in the amount of 6% per annum and the possibility of subsidizing the initial payment of up to 5% of the cost of housing," RIA Novosti cites the document.
