Medicine today is not ready to provide a person with a life expectancy of up to 120 years. This was announced on January 8 by Mikhail Didur, Director of the N. P. Bekhtereva Institute of the Human Brain of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

"Real medicine, real human society is not ready and is not capable, so it means that it can provide a life expectancy of up to 120 years now," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

He added that there are developments in science to increase the life expectancy of certain biological objects.
